Started n the early days of Covid-19, this painting is an optimistic fantasy vision of a homo-sensual Queer community providing comfort and safety during another plague. Like everyone, I leaned heavily on my online connections throughout this period, and deepened many friendships despite the limitations of digital communication. The flawed and frustrating social platforms were a lifeline in some of the most isolating months, but the experience made me realize how much I missed and valued the intimate physical friendships in my life. This piece is dedicated to them.
