PRICING

Below are approximate prices based on standard options. I will quote a custom price based on each client's particular desires.

How is Pricing Calculated?

The Short Version:

Time +Experience + Quality

In Short:

Time + Experience + Quality

Drawing on two decades of experience working as a professional illustrator, I’ve set my prices to reflect the value of my time and talents while keeping custom artwork accessible to a budget-conscious collector.

I strive to balance affordability for the client while compensating myself fairly as a professional artist, which is why I offer custom payment plans on request.

THE PROCESS

I've stripped down the process to make the experience easy and efficient for both of us.

step 1

AGREEMENT

After receiving your submitted questionnaire, I will offer a custom price quote based on your requests.

Once an agreement is made, we can get started!

STEP 2

DEPOSIT

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before work begins on the project.

  • This serves as both contract for the assignment and financial compensation for my time in the event the client disappears or chooses to terminate the project before completion.

  • The second half of the payment will be due upon approval of the final artwork, before shipping.

  • Custom payment plans are available upon request and must be agreed upon in writing before work commences.

STEP 3

SKETCHES

I will ask you to provide any reference materials (photos, descriptions* etc.) needed for the project. at which point I will create 2 concept sketches in color for you to choose between.

The pricing includes 1 round of revisions at the sketch phase to determine the overall composition and colors. This is the last stage at which changes can be made.

Additional revisions will be charged at $25/revision.

*More on my privacy policy for further details.

STEP 4

FINAL ART

When a compositon has been selected, I will begin work on the final artwork.

At this stage, no further changes can be requested.

Once art is completed, I will digitally scan and share the final image for client approval.

STEP 5

PAYMENT and SHIPPING

Once final art is approved, I will submit a second invoice for the final payment, including estimated shipping costs. As soon as the payment clears, I will ship the artwork and it will be yours!

*unless a custom payment plan has been agreed upon

  • TIMING

A standard commision requires 4-6 weeks for completion from the time deposit is made.

If artwork needs to be completed and delivered in less time, please indicate that in the questionnaire below: a rush fee will be added to the overall price and calculated on a case-by-case basis.

  • PHOTO REFERENCES

Please provide all the relevant reference photos and descriptions of the artwork you wish to be made. I will assume you have all rights and consent to shared imagery

PLEASE NOTE: I will not reproduce copyrighted imagery, nor recreate the work or style of other artists.

  • PRIVACY POLICY

I will provide a link to a password-protected Google Drive folder where you can save your photos and reference images, to be used for the duration of the project.

Personal photos will never be shared with others outside the project.

After the commission is completed, I will delete all images to ensure client privacy.

SHIPPING

  • Shipping will be the financial responsibility of the buyer and will be added to the final price of the commission.

  • A shipping estimate will be included on the invoice and final payment must be received before artwork is shipped.

  • All work is carefully packaged and shipped flat, unframed.

Due to high shipping costs and risk of damage, I do NOT provide framing services for commissions.

If you need to get the artwork framed by a specific date, please consider this in your estimated timeline so I can be sure to deliver the artwork within a reasonable window.
